Tutorial - How to Split & Join Files?
Introduction
Split large files like audio, video, text, images, compressed files like RAR & ZIP, etc. of any size defined or customized into several chunks which then can be burned to DVDs, CDs, and copied to USB sticks, and then join them together to recreate the original file. If you have a large file that needs to be sent over the web to your friends, to your boss or to your colleagues, or stored on external devices which are smaller in size, this free file splitter joiner won't let you down.
Step 1. Activate Free File Splitter
Launch Advanced Win Utilities Free and go to "File & Program Management" tab and in "FILE MANAGEMENT" group, click "File Split & Join" to activate the free file splitter.
Step 2. Split File
Once the free file splitter is launched, you can see the "Split" pane. Click "Select input file" to choose a file you want to split up into several small parts. Click "Select folder" to specify an output folder to save the split files.Then you can choose maximum size for split file from "Floppy disc (1.44MB)", 74-minute CD_ROM (650MB), "100MB" and "80-minute CD_ROM (700MB)". If you want to define the size by yourself, check "User-defined size" and click the button to increase/decrease the size or just enter the figure in the size box.
When everything is ready, click "Start" button and wait until Free File Split Join popups the message - Split job is completed!
