Tutorial - How to Manage Passwords for Websites?
Introduction
If you have several login IDs & passwords of other websites, it must be troublesome to remember them all. But using a same ID/password for all your accounts is very dangerous - Advanced Win Utilities Free helps you solve this. The integrated password manager can store multiple logins in a password-protected archive. You can store your ID and password of bank account, social websites, communication tools and many others with manually added descriptions. It also comes with an advanced password generator to create strong yet easy-to-remember password. It does not save the passwords within the program or upload them to a server to make sure that you are the only person that knows your logins.
Step 1. Activate Free Password Manager
Launch Advanced Win Utilities Free and go to "Privacy" tab and in "PASSWORD MANAGEMENT" group, click "Password Manager" to activate the free password manager.
Step 2. Activate Website Editor
Switch to "Edit" tab. Click "Add a site" to activate the site editor. Type the site name or short description about the site in "Site name/description". Enter the site URL in "Site URL". If you want, click "Launch" to visit the site. Type your ID in "User name". Enter your website password in "Password" or click "Generate" to use the password generator to create a password. Type some information if needed in "Notes". Click "OK" and the website name will be displayed in the program window. Click "Modify a site" to reactivate the site editor and edit its name, URL, user name, password, etc. If you want to remove a site from the list, select it and click "Delete a site".


Step 3. Save the Archive
Go back to "File" tab. Click "Save" to save the archive as a *.zip file.
