Tutorial - How to Manage Passwords for Websites?

Introduction

If you have several login IDs & passwords of other websites, it must be troublesome to remember them all. But using a same ID/password for all your accounts is very dangerous - Advanced Win Utilities Free helps you solve this. The integrated password manager can store multiple logins in a password-protected archive. You can store your ID and password of bank account, social websites, communication tools and many others with manually added descriptions. It also comes with an advanced password generator to create strong yet easy-to-remember password. It does not save the passwords within the program or upload them to a server to make sure that you are the only person that knows your logins.
Activate Free Password Manager

Step 1. Activate Free Password Manager

Launch Advanced Win Utilities Free and go to "Privacy" tab and in "PASSWORD MANAGEMENT" group, click "Password Manager" to activate the free password manager.

Step 2. Activate Website Editor

Switch to "Edit" tab. Click "Add a site" to activate the site editor. Type the site name or short description about the site in "Site name/description". Enter the site URL in "Site URL". If you want, click "Launch" to visit the site. Type your ID in "User name". Enter your website password in "Password" or click "Generate" to use the password generator to create a password. Type some information if needed in "Notes". Click "OK" and the website name will be displayed in the program window. Click "Modify a site" to reactivate the site editor and edit its name, URL, user name, password, etc. If you want to remove a site from the list, select it and click "Delete a site".
Activate Website EditorTo activate the password generator, you can also go to "Tools" tab and click "Generate a password...". There are 4 types of characters in "Characters to include" - uppercase, lowercase, numbers and special characters. By default, they're checked. You can unselect one or more according to your demands. If needed, enter the characters in the box below and the password generated will contain at least one character you entered. Type the number or click the up and down arrows to specify the password length. Click "Generate a password" to get a password. Click "Copy password to clipboard" to copy the password.
Activate Website EditorYou can also check "Use template" and enter the characters as template. Each character has different meaning in the template. Click "Generate a password" and you'll get a password using the template you entered.
Save the Archive

Step 3. Save the Archive

Go back to "File" tab. Click "Save" to save the archive as a *.zip file.
Save the ArchiveIf you want to protect the specified archive, click "New archive password..." and set the password for it.
Save the ArchiveTo import logins from another archive, click "Import..." to choose an archive you want to import. Then, click "Add" or "Add All" to import one or all the items in "From archive items" to "Items to copy" box. Click "Remove All" or "Remove" to move all the items or one item to the original box.
Save the ArchiveTo quickly access the archives you created, you can go to "Tools" tab and click "Create desktop shortcut for this archive" to create the shortcut for the archive.
